Maybe it's weird, but Sirius hasn't stopped to overanalyze it yet. The Marauders are his family- they make him feel complete. He misses any one of them enough to ache, but it has been especially so with Remus. Maybe it always was. Even Sirius can't deny how their relationship has been changing, though, and that has absolutely had even more of an affect.

That trust and faith are reciprocated completely.

He laughs almost awkwardly. "Yeah." Fuck it he can't help himself, he leans forward to brush his nose against Remus'. It's so cutesy and gross (and honestly romantic) but it feels right.
