Axolotls do, and I would say given these -- [He reaches up and gently flicks one of the pink, frond-like gills that poke out from either side of his face] -- that I am at least twenty percent axolotl. Many of the other afflicted parties I have met have found themselves suddenly sporting identifiable animal parts; this curse got a little more creative where I was concerned.

[Because of course it did. That's just what he has to expect at this point. At least he's not gold-- some axolotls and newts do come in a nice, healthy golden color. He dodged a bullet, really.]
