The Harvest Faire: October Catch-All!
[ As the sun rises at the start of the month, a forest of colorful tents arises outside the city gates. It is not an enemy encampment, though, unless you hate fun. Then yes, it is an enemy encampment. Fun is assaulting the Kingdom in full force, as Harvest Faire fever sweeps across the nation. ]
[ You may join crowds of eager people on the initial days, or wait until the mania has died down to a more casual flow—but either way, there’s a lot to see and do at the faire. It all has to do with people trying to sell you on their religions by showing you their October Best in holidays, but the people of the Kingdom know that if they’re boring or too hard with their sales, no one will come back. So expect a fun, full immersion experience into this or that cult! Food, beverage, and substances will be provided, along with any props you may need to participate. ]
[ Or, I guess, find opportunities to get paid to be a carny, if money is more your speed than fun. ]
[ Cults are on a rotating schedule, so they won’t be the same every day, but eager acolytes will be glad to tell you when they’ll be back in the tent again, so you’ll be welcome to come back again. Maybe even bring a friend along with you? They’re often all smiles on the advertising side, no matter how macabre or dark their faith may be. ]
[ And hey, look, on some days, there’s empty tents... ]

[Maybe it's the increasingly casual nature of their relationship, maybe it's the culture around them getting to her, maybe it's a moment of impulse—probably all of them—but Yenh grins and raises a hand to her mouth as she shouts.]
Your smallclothes don't match!
[A townswoman elbows her and scolds her for being rude to the pantysmith's latest model. Yenh's ears perk and she lowers her voice to normal speaking volume.] Oh, no no, I know him. He's a- friend.
[The woman chuckles and bids Yenh to carry on, as she too carries on with her non-panty-related chores.]

[Aymeric straightens as he hears a very familiar voice engaging in very public humiliation. He turns, very militarily, on his heel to approach her. He gives her a shrug.]
Then you had better go convince the pantysmith to broaden his available wares.
[He greets her with a small smile, his hand on his cocked hip.]
I've fallen in with the adventurer's lifestyle. This job was too good to pass up, financially. [he brushed a lock of hair from his face. His hair was getting a little long, wasn't it?]
no subject
[Back to "business," Yenh tilts her head up at him and gives him a grin.]
It suits you. In more ways than one. [Ah, when did she become so vulgar and flirty toward him? She scolds herself gently and shakes her head.] Though I'll save my full thoughts 'til after you've finished working. [She gestures toward the town crier, who is doing some crying but is also casting irritated glances at the two of them.] Pay me no mind, ser. I shall observe your questing.

Anyway, I believe the smith will not grow too irate as long as I continue my posing, but...
[He looks over at the crier, starting to do some low to the ground, side-to-side stretches. An inferior pair of panties would have seen a testicle fall out right about now.]
Actually, could you do me a favor? If you see anyone I might know could you redirect them before they might see me? [There was a withering edge on the word "someone"- implying a certain two someones who would be particularly awful candidates to walk right up right now.]

[She explains this with utterly earnest patience. The fact that he was putting that underwear through its proper paces had nothing to do with it, though.]
[Yenh tears her eyes away and to his face again, and she smiles.]
Certainly! I'll invite whomever may happen to pass to spar with me.
no subject
[he crosses his arms]
Especially since the first thing you yelled across the plaza was "Your smallclothes don't match".
[he sighs] I would rather be sparring- But I mustn't be a poor sport. [he continues posing. He hears a couple playful jeers from behind him, so he opts to just stick his ass out a bit more.]
Though I would love a proper adventure.

A comment on your fashion choice! If I wished to be truly lewd, I could have asked to see how they looked on your knees.
[She says this while smiling, but there is just a momentary flicker of curiosity that vanishes as soon as it appears in favor of her eyes lighting up as realization dawns on her.]
Aymeric...! We could go on an adventure!
no subject
I'm sure you can imagine it well enough on your own.
[He snaps back upwards, seeming intrigued]
Could we? Could I? 'Twould be a shame to be punished for abandoning my post. [Though those words pass his lips, yearning tugs at him to quit his miserable little job and accompany her]
no subject
'Twould. You would need to take up adventuring full time. Such a shame.

As much as I would be loathe to ruin my standing with Mistress, I have the feeling that I have little to lose. Aside from my salary.
[He seems to contemplate this for a moment.] I will sleep on it, and I can't leave Estinien to his own devices. Then again, full sure am I that he would leave as well with only the slightest provocation.
no subject
Much as I would enjoy an outing with all your attentions, it is almost without saying that Estinien should accompany us. Alphinaud, too!
[-ah, but-] ... though, the Mistress may yet punish you.
no subject
A punishment would be a keen change of pace. I welcome her to do her worst. [famous last words of an impassioned man]
All of this be damned. I will take my payment from the pantysmith, and we should make for the woods.
no subject
You do not want to choose a fugitive's life, Aymeric.
no subject
[he crosses his arms tight. The reality slowly starts to sink in. He's quiet for a moment.]
Mm... I suppose I should quit formally, if I'm to go off on an adventure.
no subject
Not to mention that such anger seldom sells smallclothes.
[And, with appropriate levels of shame, she too drops her voice and murmurs.] Yet if you wish to make for the woods after this for a temporary amount of time, I would not say no.
no subject
[Despite saying that, he's very aware now of his outburst in combination with his near-nudity. The world begins to refocus and his passion dies down somewhat, he turns to the town crier and shrugs.]
'Twould be for the best for me to finish my work here, at least. My capacity for shame has grown somewhat, I needn't retreat into the woods for this... Is that what you would do, if you were me?
no subject
Ah, now that was innuendo.
In your place... I believe I would be posing sensually for the onlookers, head held high! You took this work, after all. Do your best with it.
no subject
[He just continues what he's doing, trying his best, though it is not very good. He skates by on looks alone.]
I shall meet you later at your home. We will speak more on this adventuring.
