It was bound to happen eventually.
Who: Aymeric and Yenh
What: They're gonna bang, probably.
When: Sometime after the Feast.
Where: The castle, then Yenh's shacking-up shack.
Warnings: Sex, most probably.
[It had all become rather routine now. Not in a bad way, really. But, in the past weeks he had purchased himself some clothing to blend in better. He had established his comings and goings. And for now, he decided that it was pertinent to keep his head down. Gathering the Mistress' ire was certainly foolish.
Once his shift was over, he hurried to the dorms to change, and then try to catch Yenh at the end of her day. He was dressed unusually- Not in general, simply in relation to the ceremonial garb or the thong that he's been breaking in for a couple weeks. This was a fairly simple tunic, cut in panels and tailored handsomely around his torso. He wore leggings in a cream color with a pair of soft leather boots. He looked almost like a regular citizen, aside from being a full head taller than most of the men puttering in the village.
Nearly fifty paces away he catches sight of her silhouette and tell-tale red hair.]

Yenh!

[She points it out in as much of a playful tone as she can muster, trying to smooth over the reprimand. But it is strained. Yenh isn't a particularly cuddly person, and despite the fact that they just fucked wildly, she doesn't actually know if he wants to be held right now. So she stretches out on her side, her tail twitching slightly as she props her head up on her hand.]
Do you know much of how Keepers of the Moon form families?
no subject
[He does sit back down on the bed, looking at her mildly. Aymeric is a cuddly man, but tends not to initiate. It's not very manly. He does remove his leggings, now uncomfortably wet on the inside. He lays next to her, only now fully nude.]

My own father was a man who my mother barely knew- and whom I've never met. My sisters' fathers are two other men... only one of whom we saw with any frequency. And that was how it was for my aunts, too. I never knew there was anything "strange" about it until I left.
no subject
[He wishes he could just be a man, that she could just be a woman. In these moments. But that is impossible, even if it unfair.]
Why is it that way?
no subject
I don't know. I could ask you the same question. But I didn't. I've held my tongue, and truly, I regret that I could not bite it moments ago.
Seeing as I can't take that back, I want you to understand that if ever I had a child, she would be fiercely loved and protected. And it would not be out of defiance of Ishgard's ways. It would be from my own.
[It feels so strange and distant to speak about her family, much less the idea of having one of her own. She had long abandoned both in favor of embracing her role as Hydaelyn's champion. But she still hopes that it does something to help.]

I cannot afford to lose the trust of my people. Were I a tradesman or a merchant, I think I would happily weather the opposition. I would lose the trust of every high born man and woman in Ishgard, I think. [He touches the knife-wound scar on his belly, then. Thinking back briefly to the assassination attempt.]
My life is not my own, not wholly. Regardless, you deserve better, Yenh, than a man already married to his city.
[He closes his eyes a moment.] Were I ever to sire your child, he would needs be a secret to all of Ishgard.
no subject
How fortuitous, then, that it shall not come to pass. You needn't worry, milord. I'm clear about our relationship to each other, even now.
[She lays a hand on her bare chest in an earnest salute.]
I apologize for the slight to Ishgard. Even if I stand by my feelings of discontent about bastard children, I've naught but fond and warm regard for the realm that welcomed me when none else would.
[Well, there ARE more points of discontent peppered into those "fond and warm regards" that she could talk about. She has a very comprehensive list about all the terrible nonsense that goes on in Ishgard, but she can feel Alphinaud screaming from across the astral plane. So, none of that will get said.]

[He rolls over to capture her in his arms, laying his head down beside hers.] I'm not normally such an anxious lover. Such an... insufferable politician. [He presses kisses to her cheeks, holding her loosely.]
no subject
Forgotten, then. [Though not really. It was a stark reminder of why she had been so hesitant to make advances on him in the first place. Even the act of tilting her head to catch his mouth with hers feels like it could be an overstep—but she does it anyway.]
no subject
I was rather rough with you... Are you feeling well?
no subject
As great as it is, it takes more than a pretty cock to injure me. ... or I presume that it's pretty. I didn't get a proper look. [She glances downward.]
no subject
Well, that's hardly fair with all the gawping I did of you... [He blushes with her calling it a pretty cock. Or even just saying the word cock, it's just a tad surprising, is all. He parts his legs, laying back to give her a decent view. He's half-hard, but he trails a hand down to quickly tug it into its full length.
It is indeed very pretty.]
Well? [He asks with a grin the assures her that he's being rhetorical.]
no subject
I stand corrected: it's an extremely pretty cock.
no subject
Certainly a bit of flattery I've never heard before.
[He cups her chin in his hand, looking at her with a soft expression.] You're very handsome, yet delicately featured. [He places a kiss over her scar.]
no subject
You're welcome to kiss all of them, if you'd like.
no subject
[He does just that, moving down a little until he finds her next scar.]
This is hardly something you could do with Estinien or me, it would take entirely too long. [As he plants another kiss with a wry grin.]
no subject
[She watches his ridiculously pretty lips brush against the places where her skin is marred, some from cuts, some from gouging, some from burns. All close calls and near misses, by the look and relative lack of them- though there is that alarmingly-sized recent one.]
[Down past her breasts, anyway.]
no subject
[He eventually comes to that one, placing a kiss on it. He sits up to look at all of it at once. He traces his fingers lightly over it.]
What happened here? To think that someone could get such wide blow...
no subject
I did mention having something to tell you. I've been remiss in not briefing you already, yet with all that happened that evening...
[She thinks about the curse Estinien is bearing, and feels a pang of extremely low-key frustration that he won't let anyone help him with it yet that is immediately overwhelmed by thoughts and memories of Doma and Ala Mhigo.]
no subject
[He places a hand on hers] What would you tell me, then?
no subject
Our ponderings over Estinien- how he seems lacking in memories of events past. I'm afraid you and I now share a discrepancy in time, too.
While I was returning from my visit to the Snow Queen, the strangest thing happened... well, the less strange version is that it feels as though I returned to Eorzea—with scant memory of this place—and returned again after time there unfolded. It was like an extended vision from the Echo... but for myself.
no subject
Pray tell me that I haven't make a recent arse of myself, then.
no subject
Ishgard participated in the battle to liberate Ala Mhigo. And you along with it.
no subject
[ He seems pleased with this news though, that the eorzean alliance had stood up to its purpose.]
I can't imagine we would have the forces to take to Ala Mhigo were I to send them in a moon's time.
[He draws his fingertips along her muscle, devising strategies in his head. Not that he would have the opportunity to use them, but it's how he was wired. ]
no subject
Longer than that, but not by much. You provided a handful of Temple Knights, but it was your cannons making the strongest argument for Ishgard's commitment to the alliance.
